Brownland Farm - Week 2

Franklin, TN
10/17-21/08

Week 2 started off to a great week with Narnia Farm's NF Rutchspun winning another Young Hunter Over Fences class in addition to receiving a 3rd and two 6th place ribbons and pinning 2nd in the under saddle.

Sherry and her two mounts, Cavalier's Choice and Shaq, pinned 4th and 5th respectively in the Level 7 Jumpers! Sherry continues to navigate Landor 003 around the Hopeful and Training Jumpers, who is again in the ribbons in his classes. Judy Norton's Joe Jackson made an appearance in the Low Working Hunter Under Saddle and won the second place prize with Sherry aboard!

Miss Kelley Norton has been busy this week, too! Not only has she been in the irons of her own NF Come Back in the Brownland Hunter and Lowing Hunter Divisions. But, she also guided Alyson Powers' Wellington around those courses as well riding to a 6th and 8th place finish with her borrowed mount!

Most exciting this week was the "Tennessee 10"! Kelley Norton navigated both her own NF Come Back and Aly's Wellington around the $10,000 NAL, NHJL & Washington Adult Hunter Classic course. Kelley had stellar rounds with both mounts and pinned 8th with Wellington. Congratulations Kelley!

After the horses, and riders, of Narnia Farm received a well deserved vacation week at the beautiful Brownland Farm in historic Franklin, Tennessee, Sherry Hyland Phillips flew down to start another show week!

Sherry Hyland Phillips had a great week with her two mounts. Sherry and Shaq won the Division Championship in the Level 5 Jumpers Week 1! In addition, Sherry and her favorite mare, Cavalier's Choice, took home a red ribbon in the Level 7 class.
